Designing, implementing, and hardening network & security infrastructure for clients of a boutique IT consulting company. Working with NGFW, VPN, and cloud edge security
Requirements
- 2-3+ years in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with NGFW & security policy management
- Strong grasp of OSI/TCP-IP, NAT/PAT, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, NTP, ICMP, ARP
- Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP, port security, routing
- VPN tech: IPsec, SSL/TLS
- TLS/SSL encryption, cert management & TLS inspection
- Web/email filtering, IPS/IDS, NAC
- DDoS protection & rate limiting
- Strong troubleshooting skills + ability to work independently
- English — Intermediate+
