About the job
Embedded systems engineer position requiring PCB design expertise for EMC compliance, object-oriented programming (C++), network connectivity (Ethernet, Wi-Fi), IoT and cloud architecture knowledge, Linux-based embedded systems experience, and cybersecurity understanding. Background with regulated/certified electronic products preferred
Requirements
- Good knowledge of PCB design principles for EMC compliance and EMI reduction
- Experience with object-oriented programming concepts, preferably in C++
- Experience with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and network-connected embedded devices
- Familiarity with cloud services and IoT architectures
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles for embedded and connected products
- Experience with Linux-based embedded systems or Linux kernel development
- Experience with UML or other system-modelling methodologies
- Previous experience with certified or regulated electronic products
- Familiarity with fire detection, emergency lighting or central battery system applications
