About the job
Ownership and optimization of bare-metal Linux infrastructure for high-frequency trading, focusing on ultra-low-latency systems, kernel/network tuning, and precision time synchronization
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Linux infrastructure, SRE, or performance engineering
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, kernel tuning, CPU isolation, NUMA and memory management
- Hands-on experience with kernel-bypass networking (Onload, DPDK)
- Strong knowledge of PTP/PPS and precision time synchronization
- Experience with Bash/Python, automation, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with bare-metal infrastructure, server/NIC configuration, BIOS and firmware tuning
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools (perf, ftrace, eBPF/bpftrace, flamegraphs)
- HFT or electronic trading experience is strongly preferred
