Lead Backend Engineer to manage a team of 4-5 engineers, define technical roadmaps, and oversee backend architecture for a high-traffic mobile-first platform using Ruby on Rails
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend development experience
- Recent experience in leading a backend team
- Proven experience owning backend architecture for a mobile-first, consumer-facing app
- Strong hands-on expertise with Ruby On Rails
- Experience building and scaling high-traffic systems (10k+ DAU)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, relational databases, caching, and performance optimization
- Practical experience with AWS
