Lead IT Procurement Officer position for a 3-year contract based in Jackson, MS (100% onsite). Responsible for managing IT procurement activities, contract oversight, RFP creation, proposal evaluation, and ensuring compliance with state laws and ITS procurement guidelines
Requirements
- Manage contract activities for IT procurement with internal/external teams
- Provide oversight and project management
- Acquire products/services/technical staffing in accordance with state laws and ITS guidelines
- Research, evaluate and acquire products based on needs
- Create Requests for Proposals (RFPs) following procurement guidelines
- Review and score proposals, bids and quotes
- Analyze information to determine best products and services for agency needs
