UI Artist to define and produce the visual direction of the user interface for a modern fantasy JRPG, collaborating with UX, Game Design, and Programming teams
Requirements
- Strong portfolio in game UI or interactive visual design
- Strong composition and visual hierarchy skills
- Strong typography, colour, and readability skills
- Experience taking UI from wireframes to final production
- Experience creating reusable components and consistent design systems
- Practical experience implementing UI in Unreal Engine
- Experience with UMG and Widget Blueprints
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines
- Comfort working iteratively in a changing indie development environment
- Ability to balance visual quality, usability, technical limitations, and production scope
