Remote b2b Python Software Engineer position at Caterpillar. 9 months minimum contract, full-time (8 hours/day) with 4 hours daily overlap with USA team (8am-12pm CDT). Requires 5+ years Python, 3+ years AWS experience, and must have Golang and AI/Agentic frameworks expertise (LangChain/LangGraph)
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python (PEP standards, linters, package managers)
- 1+ year of SQL
- 3+ years strong experience with AWS (Dynamo, RDS, S3, Kinesis, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Fargate, Lambda)
- Experience with OOP, TDD, Unit testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, AzDO pipelines)
- Experience with Docker
- Experience writing Python Rest APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- Must have: Golang
- Must have: LangChain or LangGraph or similar AI/Agentic framework
- Must have: LLM's, embedding models, RAG, Agents, Vector databases
- Bachelor's degree required
- English B2+ level
- Must be outside Russia and Belarus
