About the job
We’re looking for a hands-on QA / Quality Engineering Lead to build and lead the quality engineering function for a modern payments platform, focusing on automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and integrating AI-powered tools
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills, ideally Go
- Experience building automation frameworks, test infrastructure or internal developer tools
- 7+ years in QA / Quality Engineering with leadership experience
- Strong payments domain knowledge: PSPs, acquiring, 3DS/SCA, callbacks, retries, refunds, reversals, settlement & reconciliation
- Strong API, integration and contract testing experience
- Experience with distributed and asynchronous systems
- SQL, logs, metrics and tracing for troubleshooting
- CI/CD and Git-based development workflows
- Experience using AI engineering tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
