About the job
An international FinTech company is seeking a Senior Go Backend Developer for their Limassol office. The role involves backend engineering with focus on payment and banking integrations in a high-availability environment. Hybrid work model with visa sponsorship available
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with production-level Go
- Proven track record integrating with external APIs in payment, banking, or financial services
- Strong system design, test-driven development, and code documentation skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in high-availability environments
- Test automation and unit/integration testing expertise
- Security-conscious with OWASP vulnerabilities knowledge
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills
- FinTech or payment processing experience (advantage)
- Cyprus residency or EU residency (advantage)
