About the job
OP Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Protocol Team to design and operate core specifications for the Optimism blockchain stack, with a focus on Rust-based consensus-client infrastructure and protocol upgrades
Requirements
- Professional record of shipping production software and maintainable Rust systems
- Deep knowledge of Ethereum (EVM, JSON-RPC, clients) and distributed systems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate complex design decisions
- Preferred: familiarity with op-node, kona, or Reth implementations; ability to read/navigate Go
- Bonus: proficiency in Solidity for system-level smart contracts
