About the job
Senior System Engineer responsible for managing on-premises and cloud data centers, virtualization platforms, Windows/Linux servers, MSSQL databases, NAS storage, and IT infrastructure. Must ensure security compliance (PCI, ISO), implement monitoring solutions, manage backup/disaster recovery, and oversee IT infrastructure projects. Based in Serbia, 6-month contract starting 10.08.2026
Requirements
- University degree in technical science or related field
- 10+ years managing IT infrastructure
- On-premise and cloud data center experience
- Virtualization platform expertise
- Windows and Linux server administration
- Azure cloud experience preferred
- Web server experience (IIS, Apache)
- Antivirus, monitoring and alerting systems
- Ticketing systems proficiency
- Security frameworks (PCI, ISO)
- MSSQL Server administration
- DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog troubleshooting
- OSI model and networking (subnetting, VLANs, VPN, NAT, firewall)
- CI/CD and change management understanding
- English B2 minimum
