About the job
Moonshot, the 'Robinhood for DeFi', is looking for a Staff Backend & Platform Engineer to own critical systems including identity/access management, financial operations (ledgering, payments), and blockchain infrastructure
Requirements
- 5–12+ years of backend / product / platform engineering
- Experience with high-scale, high-availability systems in fintech, crypto, or similar domains
- Expertise in identity & access / security engineering, financial systems, or blockchain infrastructure
- Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems
- Strong operational mindset (monitoring, on-call, incident response)
- Nice to have: Go, Rust, Solana, crypto wallets/exchanges or onchain protocols (DeFi, L2s, ZK)
